I’ve been blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with a variety of excellent organisations and individuals, some of which are listed below. If you would like a referral please contact me and I’ll tell you who to talk to.

Not for Profit organisations

PATRICIA GILES CENTRE help women and children affected by family and domestic violence to find safety, security and stability so they can get their lives back on track. Always working towards a future free from family and domestic violence, they support, empower and educate. I have developed a range of brochures for them aimed at engaging donors and supporters.

REBOUND WA is the new name for Wheelchair Sports WA. They provide information, advocacy, sport and recreational activities and community to Western Australians living with physical disability. I’ve helped them with a communications plan to complement their rebrand, and have written content for new brochures, social media and their new website.

EPIC operates in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. EPIC stands for Empowering People in Communities – and essentially that is what they do. Through a range of services and programs they support many people to live a more connected life. I’ve assisted them with writing and editing tenders as well as content for their Annual Report and their brand new website.

TENANCY WA provides free, independent, quality legal services to residential tenants anywhere in Western Australia. They advise, support, educate and empower law and policy reform in tenancy in WA. I have written their Annual Reports for 2014/15 and 2015/16, the content for their new website and helped them to develop a narrative and brochure aimed at securing partners for their new Safe as Houses program that aims to prevent homelessness for women and children escaping family and domestic violence.

SCALES is a community legal centre that provides legal and community education services to the Rockingham and Kwinana community. They also play an instrumental role in training Murdoch University’s law students who participate in their clinical legal education program. I have written and developed a booklet for them celebrating their 20th Anniversary as well as written their 2016/17 Annual Report.

CARBON NEUTRAL CHARITABLE FUND encourages you to balance out the carbon emissions you generate in your everyday life, by buying local reforestation carbon offsets. Then they plant trees and restore our unique natural habitat. I have written publications and web content for CNCF as well as assisting them with their media.

OUTCARE does wonderful work by providing services, programs and support to people in prison, those just released, those at risk of entering prison and the families of prisoners. I wrote content for their new website, developed a new brochure style, wrote a variety of service brochures, developed an interim style manual and wrote and managed the production of their 2013/14 Annual Report.

AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN’S MUSIC FOUNDATION  brings music programs to children and young people in disadvantage right around Australia. They inspire, encourage and empower and frankly change young lives. I assisted them with developing stakeholder engagement in WA.

AVIVO (rebranded from Perth Home Care Services) provides a myriad of essential services to people with disabilities. I assisted them in their recruitment for a Marketing Manager.

Authors and artists

LIZ BYRSKI is a best selling writer and former journalist. She’s written nine novels and thirteen non-fiction books and has been involved in several anthologies. And she is also the Director of the China Australia Writing Centre at Curtin University. I currently manage her website as well as advise on social media and general communications strategies.

ROSEMARY SAYER is an author, writer, academic, researcher and communications expert. Her latest book called More to the story – conversations with refugees, looks beyond negative media reports, political speeches and fear-mongering statistics to tell human stories of refugees and asylum seekers in Australia. I developed and continue to manage the website for the book, as well as advise on social media and general marketing strategies.

PAT DIXON is an amazing textile artist who uses felt making and paper making techniques with materials such as wool, silk fibre and silk fabrics to create original and interesting artworks. The result is contemporary design meets ancient art forms. I created her website for her and am helping her to develop some innovative marketing strategies.

NICK MELIDONIS is a supremely talented photographic artist who also runs inspiring photography tours, and passes on his knowledge via workshops and mentoring. I’ve helped him with an update of his web content and some communications strategies.

Small to medium businesses

ANSON is a management consulting business that specialises in assisting WA community service organisations to expand, adapt, develop and continue to create social value. I’m assisting them to clarify and progress their own marketing and communications including developing a booklet outlining all of their services, rewriting their website and developing marketing plans and collateral for their products and services.

OTA LANDSCAPES is a medium sized business that creates gorgeous landscapes and gardens for residential and commercial clients. I have updated and upgraded their website and now manage it. I’m also in the process of doing the same thing for their parent company Outback Trees of Australia.

AURENDA is a medium sized business providing personalised expertise in injury prevention and management. They are absolutely a cut above the others in their field. I assisted them with their marketing, messaging and positioning strategies.

Government and education

CONSUMER PROTECTION, part of the WA Department of Commerce, asked me to undertake some editing for them. They are responsible for fair trading, consumer rights, not for profit and cooperatives legislation, property sale and rental laws and some occupational licences.

EQUITY AND DIVERSITY OFFICE at the University of Western Australia asked me to undertake a review of their strategies in the recruitment, employment and retention of Indigenous staff across the University.
